You are aware that the golf course is not in very good shape I hope! It’s “OK” but not nearly as good as many other courses in the county.

Also, how can you have a top 4 person team and a top individual awards? If you are playing best ball which is usually what a 4 person team does, an individual will never play every shot on every hole so a top individual award is impossible OR you better explain the rules a LOT better before the tournament!

Do Senior golfers (65 and older is what I call Seniors anyway) play from a shorter tee box than the younger players? Only way to make it somewhat fair but that point is not listed as I see. Actually what tee box are the younger players using? Tournament does not have nearly enough information posted anywhere.

Hello Allen, yes we are aware of the courses condition and have been reassured that the driving range looks bad, because it is no longer part of the course, but the remaining holes and course are good to go. Truth be told, we were hoping to hold it at a different course, but they were having irrigation put in during our weekend. Other courses are too expensive for many of our participants or too far of a drive for others. We keep all of this in mind when choosing our course for the EOD Tournament. I do not have the details on the Top Individual Award. I think that was something presented by the Sponsor. I’ve never heard of seniors playing from a shorter tee box. Women, yes, but not seniors. But I promise you, if you ask, you can tee off from the shorter box. We are not a PGA tournament and it’s more for the fun of the game and company.
Thank you for coming out to play! We look forward to seeing you!
